Can I get a quote and buy online?

We currently offer the option for a wide range of professions to get a quote and buy online. Providing immediate coverage and documentation, you can complete the entire process within minutes.
For all other professions, you can fill out our online form and we'll get straight back to you with your quote details.

How can I get a quote?

You can get a quote by filling in our simple to use online quote form, or by clicking any of the "get a quote" buttons throughout our site.

If you'd prefer for us to give you a call, you can request a call back request a callback and we'll give you a call back at a time that suits you.

Exactly how much cover do I need

You'll be hard pushed to find an insurance company who will advise you exactly how much cover you need, principally due to liability reasons. The responsibility to take out adequate cover largely falls in your hands, although our helpful advisors will be happy to discuss your options and explain how you can come to a conclusion regarding cost.

Sometimes you may also find that your job stipulates the amount you require. If you're looking for other options, you'll find that many industry organisations and professional bodies will likely be able to offer useful advice.

What types of insurance do you offer?

From standard public liability policies, to policies including additional Insurance such as property damage, stock cover and much more, we've got you covered. All our insurance options can be selected in one quote form and you'll have just one policy, giving you less paperwork and giving you more time to concentrate on what matters most, your business.

I work with clients away from the salon in their homes, am I covered?

If you serve clients away from your salon or in their homes, you will be covered provided you select the option of working away when you fill in our online quote form.

What payment options do you offer?

If your policy is over a certain amount, we offer the option to pay via direct debit in manageable monthly instalments. We also offer the option to pay via debit or credit card, or by bank transfer.

How do I make a claim?

In your policy documentation you'll find a direct claim line number, which will also include emergency numbers, .

What next after I make a claim?

We will walk you through the process of making a claim and go a step further to help you get settlement from the insurance provider. With our numerous years of experience helping different clients with their claims, as well as the close relationships we have with insurance providers, you are a better place to receive settlement and get back to work as quickly as possible.

If I train in new therapies and treatments, what should I do?

If you train in new therapies and treatments, you should inform us so that we can look into adding them to your existing policy.

Which insurance providers do you use?

We use an A-rated panel of UK based insurers, in simple terms that means we only pick from the best insurers to offer you the best insurance possible.

Is Salon Insurance 4u authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority?

Yes we are.

Can you cover me for teaching?

Yes, please fill out our online form and choose the option to add cover for teaching in section 4.

Do you offer public liability only policies?

Yes, you simply need to select the limit you require in section 3 of our online form and not select any additional insurance options. However please be aware public liability insurance will not cover if you perform beauty treatments, we strongly recommend you take out additional treatment cover insurance in that case which can also be done via our online form.

Do you cover Hyaluron pen?

Yes, please fill out our online form and choose the option to add this treatment in section 3.

Do you cover PRP (platelet rich plasma)

Yes, please fill in our online form and add any number of treatments in section 3. Once complete we will start working on your quotation straight away.

Can you cover skin types 5 & 6 for laser treatment?

Depending on which underwriters we approach you will need either a NVQ level 4 or VCTC LV 4 in laser treatments or to have an accredited qualification and be able to provide evidence of at least 12 months experience (by way of a C.V. and training certificate).

Do you cover for working away?

Yes, you can add cover for working away in section 4 of our online form - additional cover. Beauty treatments can be carried out away and in people’s homes provided that the beautician uses single-use gloves/ aprons; that the room is clean and free of rubbish and that hygiene rules are respected, preferably a clinical environment.

Do you cover non medics/nurses for dermal fillers?

Yes, please complete our online form and we will start working on your quotation straight away.
